The SNAC Cooperative has created several resources since it's inception to help SNAC users and editors with their various goals and journeys.
Editorial Policies
These editorial policies were developed by the SNAC Editorial Standards Working Group (ESWG) to provide standardized guidance for approaching descriptive practices when creating and editing SNAC records. You can find policies from general topics such as editorial ethos, and assigning subject headings, to more specific topics like trans naming guidance and Indigenous descriptions.
SNACSchool Resources
Several resources have been created by various faculty of the SNACSchool program to serve as guides for students AND teachers. You'll find slide decks used in SNACSchool presentations, self-guided modules, and other toolkits here.
Technical Resources
These technical resources have been developed by the SNAC Technical Infrastructure Working Group and other technical consultants as SNAC has grown and developed over the years. You can find resources for developers, OpenRefine, ArchivesSpace Plug In, and more.
