About SNACSchool
SNACSchool is the formal training program for SNAC (Social Networks and Archival Context). Completion of SNACSchool is a requirement for beoming an editor of identity constellations in the SNAC user interface. The training program is developed and directed by the SNACSchool Working Group, a committee made up of partners from the SNAC cooperative community.
Currently, SNACSchool consists of five training modules: 1. SNAC History 101; 2. Introduction of Archival Authority Control; 3. SNAC User Account and Profile Maintenance; 4. Searching in SNAC; and 5. Creating and Editing Identity Constellations in SNAC. Plans for new modules for developing functionality are in the works. Training experiences are deliverd as in-classroom and remote, webinar experiences.
